I was born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey, but my love of adventure (and my now husband) eventually brought me west. Today I'm based in Idaho, though you'll rarely find me staying in one place for long. Whether it's a mountain town, a bustling city, or somewhere halfway across the world, I'm happiest with a camera in my hands and a passport that's a little too full. You'll usually find me planning my next trip, thrifting vintage details for styled shoots, rewatching Pride & Prejudice for the hundredth time, or convincing myself I definitely need "just one more" ribbon for a flat lay.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad first taught me how to use a camera, and what started as a hobby quickly became the way I experience the world. I began photographing horses, which taught me to anticipate movement before it happened. Later, street photography taught me to slow down and notice the beauty in ordinary moments. Eventually, all of those experiences led me to weddings, where movement, emotion, storytelling, and human connection come together in the most beautiful way.

Do you travel?
Yes, absolutely! I'm happy to photograph destination weddings — whether you're eloping in the mountains or celebrating oceanside. I hold a current passport and am ready to travel wherever your love takes you. Let’s make it happen!
My domestic travel rates are higher than my local Idaho rates because they account for the additional expenses required to photograph your wedding or session outside of my home base. When traveling, I factor in the cost of flights, rental car, lodging, food, and gas, all of which are necessary to ensure I can arrive on time, stay comfortably, and deliver the same high-quality experience I provide to my local clients. These travel costs are built into my pricing so there are no surprises later, and so I can focus fully on capturing your day without cutting corners. By including travel fees upfront in my wedding photography packages, I take care of all travel and accommodation arrangements myself—so there's no extra planning or stress on your end. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your big day knowing everything is handled.
How long does it take to get my photos?
Please see my Services page for expected timelines for each type of photoshoot. Typically lifestyle session are delivered within 2-3 weeks, and wedding within 8-12 weeks. Rush processing is available for an added fee.
how do i get my images?
The deliverable for any session is an online gallery hosted here on my website. All galleries are public, but watermarked until images are downloaded with a unique and private download pin code provided only to the client.
What should we wear for our session?
I always recommend neutral colors, as these suit my editing style the best and will always give you a cohesive gallery! Think: warm tones, white, cream, rust, browns, sage greens, lighter blue jeans. I ask clients not to wear red, purple, or hot/neon colors. I especially love stripes, gingham, and small florals. For fall and winter, consider layering with multiple textures.

Do you help with planning my session?
Absolutely! I’ll guide you through every step — from choosing the perfect location and time of day, to outfit suggestions and how to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether you have a vision in mind or need creative direction, I’m here to make sure your session feels natural, fun, and true to who you are as a couple. Think of me as your photographer and hype person — I’ve got you.
do you use associate shooters?
Never! I will ALWAYS be the one actually photographing your session or wedding. You are paying for my artistic vision and editing, so that is exactly what you will receive. I do offer additional second-shooters, but I will never outsource myself.
what is your shooting and backup process?
I shoot simultaneously on two separate Canon R6mii camera bodies which both have two memory cards (dual slot), so there are essentially four copies of every image. Upon returning home, photos are transferred to an external drive prior to culling. Raw files are not deleted until after your final gallery is delivered.
can i have the raw files?
I do NOT provide or sell RAW image files under any circumstance. Clients pay for my finished work only.
Can I buy prints or albums?
Yes! You can purchase high-quality prints, wall art, and albums directly through my online print shop—linked right inside your gallery. The store is powered by Pixieset, which offers a variety of print sizes, finishes, and products. Everything is professionally printed and shipped straight to your door, making it easy to turn your favorite images into beautiful keepsakes.
can you retouch my photos?
I do minimal retouching. My work is rooted in a documentary style, which means I aim to represent things exactly as they were. That said, I’ll remove any glaringly distracting objects when possible, like cars, cones, light poles, or trash cans that pull attention away from the subject.
However, I don’t retouch physical features or personal details such as scars, tattoos, hair, glasses, clothing or accessories, teeth, or faces. These are all part of what makes you you, and I believe in keeping that authenticity intact.
